"The oboe’s a horn made of wood. I’d play you a tune if I could, But the reeds are a pain, And the fingering’s insane. It’s the ill wind that no one blows good."
The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak my place of employment, the TSO has made a remarkable transition from a fully integrated audience and orchestra experience to an online presence in the form of The Daily Dose. This is a way to bring our music and our players right into your lounge rooms through the expert skills of the Technical Staff and with huge support from our Board and Management. We hope you find it both enjoyable and informative.
And here is a link to a very recent TSO Daily Dose which features my partner Gemma Black speaking with Mitch about her work followed by me playing the hauntingly beautiful piece Yanada by Ross Edwards.
